Michael Rose heads Rewards Consulting Limited

Michael Rose has extensive experience built up over many years across both senior corporate and consultancy Employee Reward roles. He started his career in Development and Training before moving into consultancy and Reward Management.

Before founding Rewards Consulting his main roles have been:

• HR and Reward consultant with KPMG, London
• Reward consultant with Arthur Andersen, Reading
• Director of Total Rewards for Aon, the largest Insurance broker in the world, for EMEA and the UK covering some 16,000 people. Responsible for making savings in reward programmes of over £20,000,000 a year
• Head of Reward Management for TSB Bank plc developing reward strategy across the Group covering 25,000 employees
• Human Resources Manager, European Insurance Operations, NZI Insurance
• Compensation Manager, Abbey Life Assurance

Additional appointments:

• Vice President, Reward for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (2006–2008)
• Winner of the Employee Benefits Magazine, Compensation and Benefits Professional of the Year award, 2009
• Member of the Nominations and Professional Conduct Committee, CIPD
• Trustee of two Pension schemes
• Honorary adviser to the HR Committee of Cancer Research UK
• Fellow, RSA

Qualifications:

• MA in Human Resource Management
• Chartered Companion of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
• Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute
